The Chaplet of Faith
The Chaplet of Faith is a beautiful Catholic devotion centered on love, trust, and the salvation of souls. Given to Mama Rosa Quattrini-Buzzini by Our Lady herself, this chaplet calls the faithful to cling closely to Jesus and Mary through simple yet powerful prayer.
At the heart of the devotion is the prayer:
“Jesus, Mary, I love You, Save Souls, Save the Consecrated.”
Though brief, these words contain profound spiritual depth. They unite love of God, intercession for souls, and prayer for priests and consecrated religious, all in one continual act of love.
Origins of the Chaplet of Faith
The Chaplet of Faith was taught by Our Lady to Mama Rosa Quattrini-Buzzini.
Rosa was born on January 26, 1909, in Santominto to devout Catholic parents. It is said that in 1961, after receiving healing through a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Rosa began experiencing weekly apparitions every Friday. During these visits, Our Lady repeatedly urged the faithful to pray the Rosary faithfully and with confidence.
One of the messages Our Lady gave Rosa was:
“Hold tightly to Me with your Rosary which is your strength, your sustenance, your defence on this earth, and, above all, at the hour of death. The Rosary is your most powerful armour.” – Our Lady to Rosa, April 17, 1970
Through these apparitions, Our Lady taught Rosa the Chaplet of Faith as a devotion of love, trust, and reparation.

The Prayer at the Heart of the Chaplet
The central prayer of the Chaplet of Faith was originally revealed by Jesus to Venerable Sister Consolata Betrone (1903–1946), a Capuchin Poor Clare nun and victim soul.
Jesus taught Sister Consolata the short but powerful prayer:
“Jesus, Mary, I love You, Save Souls.”
Later, the additional words “Save the Consecrated” were included in the Chaplet of Faith taught to Mama Rosa.
Jesus explained to Sister Consolata that this continual act of love would console His Sacred Heart, wounded by humanity’s lack of trust in His mercy. He invited her to offer the prayer constantly throughout the day as an uninterrupted act of love.
Sister Consolata said this prayer from the moment she woke up to the moment she slept. She even asked her guardian angel to pray the prayer on her behalf whilst she slept.

Why This Prayer Is So Powerful
The beauty of the Chaplet of Faith lies in its simplicity.
When we pray:
“Jesus, Mary, I love You…”
we fulfill the greatest commandment – to love God with our whole heart.
When we pray:
“Save Souls…”
we intercede for all souls:
- Souls on earth.
- The holy souls in purgatory.
- Future generations still to be born.
And when we add:
“Save the Consecrated…”
we pray especially for priests, religious, and all those who have dedicated their lives to God.
This small prayer becomes a continuous offering of love and mercy capable of bringing grace to countless souls.

Jesus’ Words to Sister Consolata
Throughout her life, Jesus spoke tenderly to Sister Consolata about trust and confidence in His mercy.
He told her:
“See Consolata, the enemy will make every effort to shake your blind faith in me. But you must never forget that I am and love to be always kind and merciful. Understand my heart Consolata; understand my love, and never permit the enemy to gain entrance into your soul, even for an instant, with a thought of a lack of confidence in Me. Believe Me, I am solely and always kind; I am solely an always like a parent to you!
So, imitate the children who at every little scratch of the finger, run at once to mother to have it bandaged. You should always do the same and remember that I will always cancel out and repair your imperfections and faults, just as a mother will always bandage the child’s finger, whether it is really hurt or only seems so in his imagination. And if the child were to really hurt his arm, or his head, how tenderly and affectionately would he be cared for and bandaged by the mother! Well, I do this very same thing with regard to your soul when you fall, even though I may do so in silence. Do You understand Consolata?
Therefore, never, never, never have even a shadow of doubt; a lack of confidence wounds My heart to the quick, and makes Me suffer.“
These messages form the spiritual foundation of the Chaplet of Faith: total trust in God’s goodness and constant acts of love offered for souls.
With this, Sister Consolata offered herself as a victim soul to Jesus, this is, she offered herself for the salvation for all the souls in the universe, so that Jesus might save them all, to which Jesus was much pleased
How to Pray the Chaplet of Faith
The Chaplet of Faith is prayed using a standard five-decade Rosary, such as the Marian rosary beads, starting on the centrepiece or medal.
1. On Each Large Bead
Pray the Apostles’ Creed.
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.Amen.
2. On Each Small Bead
Pray:
“Jesus, Mary, I love You, Save Souls, Save the Consecrated.”
3. After the Five Decades
Pray the Hail Holy Queen five times.
Hail, Holy Queen,
Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.Pray for us O Holy Mother of God,
that we may be made worth of the promises of Christ.
Amen.
